**Who will I be working for**
Your new employer is a family owned and run local construction company who has designed and manufactured housing, multi-unit apartments and specialist buildings for nearly 50 years. With a long-standing team, and a very balanced environment, they are the perfect place to join if you are experienced in the residential design sector, and just want to get on with doing this.

**What is the Role?**
They create an opportunity for an experienced residential building designer/drafter to work closely with the design manager in the production of structural drawings for manufacture in the factory. You’ll be based ‘on a building site’ every day and get to see first-hand exactly what you are creating.

**What Do I Need to Have/Be To Be Successful?**
- Comprehensive practical work experience in design and documentation for residential projects, Revit (or other 3D software highly regarded)
- Experience designing timber framing and doing wind bracing calcs
- Relevant building design qualifications
- Good communication skills and an easy going attitude
