**About the Role**

As the Antenatal Educator, you will work to provide education to our new families to be, working closely with the Birth Suite and Postnatal Ward to enhance the pregnancy continuum.

Working in collaboration with Nurse Unit Managers and Midwifery Educators, you will conduct antenatal classes for our parents.

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful you will have senior midwifery/nursing experience with advanced skills in nursing assessment and highly developed clinical problem-solving skills. You have a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay’s core values.

Other criteria;
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as either Midwife or Registered Nurse
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
- Postgraduate antenatal experience essential
- Previous experience in an education/preceptor role advantageous
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required
- Strong understanding of basic computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
