The Opportunity

Edrington Park Retirement Living is a thriving community set on prestigious heritage-listed gardens and home to a heritage-listed community centre - Mansion House, formerly home to Lord and Lady Casey. Conveniently located in Melbourne's southeast, close by are Beaconsfield Plaza, Berwick Bowling Club, Berwick Montuna Driving Range and St John of God and Casey Hospitals.
Working closely with your fellow Maintenance Officer and team members, you will ensure our buildings & fixtures are well-maintained and presentable. You'll enjoy interacting with residents, working autonomously and alongside team members, and have general maintenance or 'handyperson' experience.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday - enjoy your weekend off

You will
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team

What you will bring
- Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles or possess domestic maintenance skills (highly desired)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest in making a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
