Role Description

HIFraser are currently recruiting an Apprentice Fitter to join our Maintenance Team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, we welcome apprentices that have already commenced their Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship within another industry to join us and continue the apprenticeship and training.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Disassembling, inspecting, repairing and testing various pieces of equipment.
- Reading engineering drawings and following work instructions.
- Carrying out fabrication projects.
- Problem solving and fault finding on mechanical systems.

**Required Skills**:

- Have good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to ask questions and listen to instructions.
- Be motivated to achieve excellent results in work and study.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Must be an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident.
- Must be committed to Full Time 4 year apprenticeship.
- Completion of Year 10 High School.

Preferred Skills
- Hands on mechanical experience preferred, but not essential.
- Driver's license.
