- **ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Manufacturing Facility and Logistics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the Omni Manufacturing Facility. This new role will require someone who is able to perform and deliver in a start up environment.
The role and functions will vary day-to-day; however, the Manufacturing Facility and Logistics Manager will be expected to undertake tasks such as planning and executing supply chains, warehousing and distribution, movements and support in both domestic and overseas activities. They will be required to manage information and oversee contracts for logistics and materials, manage inventory through regular stock takes and establish and maintain relationships and networks with key industry partners. They will also be responsible for managing and leading the onsite facilities processes and building operations ensuring the site maintains WHS compliance. These duties will evolve as the capability evolves.
The Manufacturing Facility and Logistics Manager will answer to the General Manager Development and work under the direction of Manager Technical Solutions.
**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
The Manufacturing Facility and Logistics Manager will:
- Be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance.
It would be desirable if they had:
- Experience with logistics, warehousing and inventory management including experience with import administration
- Exposure to financial and accounting procedures
- Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations
