**About the program**
The _Integrated Co-occurring Treatment Service_** **is a new program that offers an integrated treatment approach to clients experiencing multiple co-occurring issues primarily including AOD and mental health.

Typically, mental health conditions and substance use disorders are treated separately, increasing the burden for consumers and their carers’ seeking treatment. This service aims to reduce this burden, as participants of the service will receive treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions from the same practitioner or treatment team, at no-cost.

With a multidisciplinary team comprising of dual diagnosis capable clinicians, supported by specialist positions in addiction medicine, psychiatry and lived experience, the aim of this new program is to work in a holistic and unified, recovery focussed manner that is responsive to the needs of clients being prioritised.

As an _Integrated Clinician_, you will be an integral member of the team delivering therapeutic and functional recovery orientated interventions to a caseload of clients presenting with multiple co-occurring needs. The role will be** **available until June 2024 (potential to extend)** **involve counselling and limited case coordination utilising outreach, office-based appointments and telehealth, where appropriate.
Duties include:

- Supporting and delivering therapeutic interventions to people experiencing co-occurring AOD /mental health and other arising issues.
- Providing outreach support to reach vulnerable clients, aid their functional recovery and assist in creating stability for treatment.
- Demonstrating a harm minimisation and recovery approach that is strongly client centred.
- Completing assessments, developing formulations, creating care plans and facilitating referrals where needed.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and other community partner organisations to deliver the best possible comprehensive service to clients.

**Qualifications**:
If you have demonstrated counselling experience supporting people with multiple co-occurring issues that includes AOD along with mental health, family violence, trauma, homelessness and physical health issues being highly regarded, and enjoy working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for
- Highly regarded Qualifications and/or Certifications:_
- Undergraduate qualifications in Counselling, Mental Health/AOD, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or similar
- A current state-based driver’s license is required
