**Description**

We have an opportunity within the Bank team for our Bank Optimisation Lead for a 6-month fixed term contract. This role will provide oversight & management over Bank Growth & Optimisation projects & initiatives including the facilitation of project/initiative governance meetings, preparation of documentation/packs & business cases/roadmaps and key stakeholder engagement.

With oversight over the broader roadmap, whilst also being the end-to-end owner & business lead of assigned streams of work / initiatives you will be enabled to make business recommendations & decisions on the vision, design, backlog prioritisation and delivery.

You’re a skilled collaborator with key stakeholders including functional owners, Marketing, Analytics, Project Office & Technology and have the ability to articulate the scope, benefits, accountabilities, risks and requirements and manage the continuous improvement of their stream/product for each optimisation project entrusted to them.

As our Bank Optimisation Lead, you will be able to connect the strategic intent with execution, understanding the needs of both the member and business,

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure initiatives align to Bank strategy, and broader teams, in understanding this alignment.
- Identification and development of key initiatives to execute Bank strategy, and as a result, supports commercial outcomes and improves member experience
- Work with stakeholders to develop and document new business processes resulting from the project / initiative and manage the roll out of the change in conjunction with key stakeholders (Change Office, Member Engagement etc) in order to embed the new behaviour.
- Support the Head of Banking Product & Operations to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Analytics, Bank Technology, Project Office, Member Engagement and Risk & Compliance.

**About You**:

- 2-3 years’ relevant experience within a Banking/ Finance or Regulatory or Compliance environment
- Demonstrated sound business judgement, with the ability to influence, engage and collaborate to build and sustain long term relationships and partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at senior/executive levels.
- Demonstrated experience in using Project Management tools, techniques and methodologies, including use of project control methods such as risk and issue management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that enablement development of strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation including executive.
- Strong understanding of technical/development requirements and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to find links and trends amongst multiple and varied forms of information, integrating facts arising from customers, competitors and the market to develop growth opportunities
- Significant experience in process improvement and problem-solving in a large / complex organisation, and the demonstrated ability to deliver detailed business requirements.
- Ideally University degree qualified in relevant study area.
