The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is Western Australia's premier event destination which is home to some of Perth's most exclusive gala dinners and events, large scale conferences to small boardroom meetings, corporate events, exciting exhibitions, weddings and theatre performances.

**The role(s)**
- About the role:_
- Create all facets of desserts, for our restaurant Café and banquet
- Help to take control of the patisserie, from basic preparation of patisserie items to high-end specific desserts
- Understanding of pastry techniques
- Ability to work in a team of pastry chefs and apprentices
- Ability to work unsupervised if need it
- Perform proper and safe operation of bakery equipment and utensils
- Essential requirements:_
- Patisserie qualifications, Cert 4 is highly regarded
- Prior experience from busy venue oriented in bulk preparation
- Minimum 2 years trade experience
- Proven experience in production operations.
- Experience and the ability to run large functions / events.
- The ability to organise and balance multiple demands.
