CivilEdge is a national Registered Training Organisation that is part of Altus Group, Australia’s largest traffic management business. We are focused on delivering the highest quality Vocational Educational and Training for the Traffic Management and broader civil construction industries and are growing quickly. We are now looking for an experienced **Education Manager** to become part of our team.
**Education Manager** is responsible for the efficient administration and coordination support for the registered training organisation. Completing end-to-end administration through the student management system (aXcelerate) as well as day to day administration for the successful running of the RTO Business, you will have a level of autonomy in this engaging an evolving team environment.
**About you**
- Previous experience within fast-paced administrative role within a VET environment
- Motivated and passionate about administrative tasks with a keen eye for detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a diverse range of people
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to work well under pressure and work to targets combined with the ability to meet tight timeframes
- A team player with a “can-do” attitude, the ability to work in a team environment and strong customer service orientation
**Key Tasks**
- Coordinate the educational, administrative and financial affairs of an educational institution or department of an institution
- Provide advice on policy and procedures to staff and students
- Make recommendations for improvements or adjustments that could provide a better learning experience or improve the educational setting for both students and instructors
- Liaise between educational institutions, students and the wider community
- Research and monitor new developments in educational systems
- Ensure all students are advised on a regular basis regarding their progress.
- Consult with academic and administrative staff to coordinate educational programs
- Identify present and future needs for staff development, and develop and deliver training programs for teachers
- Research and report on students needs arising from curriculum implementation
- Plan, organize, and supervise the day-to-day operations for current and future education events
- Enter and maintain data in aXcelerate including training courses, student information, invoicing and outcomes
- Ensure compliance and requirements are met/ evidenced by all prospective students
- Audit checking student files for compliance and completeness
- Assistance with general auditing processes
- Coordination of Training subsides and available funding
**General Hours of Operation**
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with office days located at the Altus head office in Laverton
