Landscaping Apprentice

Desired Landscapes currently have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team

We are based in Box Hill and work across Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our work is predominantly residential and includes a mix of construction and regular garden maintenance. We enjoy performing garden tasks to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.

**Responsibilities for this position include**:

- Garden construction - retaining walls, paving, decking, irrigation, planting, soils and mulches.
- Garden maintenance - edging and mowing, pests and diseases, weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).
- Assure quality of work is performed to a standard to meet our client's high expectations.
- Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III Landscaping.

**To be successful you will need to have the following**:
**Must have**:

- Ability to undertake manual/physical work.
- Genuine interest in landscaping.
- Punctual, reliable and energetic.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
