**_ We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join the team as Assistant Manager._**
In this role, you will play a vital part in day-to-day operations, working closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer experiences.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting the Store Manager in managing the showroom, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and overall store presentation.
- Providing exceptional customer service by offering product knowledge, design advice, and assistance in selecting the right products to meet customers' needs.
- Supporting the sales team by providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
**Key skills & experiences we are looking for**:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role within the retail industry, preferably in a home and interior showroom or a related field.
- A passion for home design, furniture, and interior trends, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management, point-of-sale systems, and administrative tasks.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
- Computer literacy is a must, with a good understanding of Microsoft Products. Prior experience with Netsuite is also looked upon favourably.
