**Scientific Officer (Toxicology)**
- Laverty Pathology is a leading provider of pathology and medical diagnostic services to doctors, specialists and hospitals throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. - **Fixed Term (6 months) Full-Time Position**:
- **North Ryde - Modern Laboratory**
- To be considered for this role, you should have the following:
- A suitable tertiary qualification in Science / Clinical Biochemistry / Analytical Chemistry (Essential)
- Experience with mass spectrometry, particularly with LCMS/QTOF (Highly desirable)
- Experience with clinical result validation and interpretation (Highly desirable)
- Experience with method development, validation and verification using mass spectrometry (Highly Desirable)
- Pathology laboratory experience in Clinical Chemistry (Desirable)
- Ability to participate in an afternoon/evening shift rotating roster and weekend roster (Essential)
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task (Essential)
- An understanding of, and compliance with, patient confidentiality (Essential)
- An ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written format (Desirable)
- Knowledge of, and compliance with, WHS policies and guidelines (Essential)
- An ability to share the company's vision, cultures and values through respect for all (Essential)
