Boilermaker Junior Apprentice

**A wonderful opportunity for Boilermaker - Junior Apprentice to work on the New Footscray Hospital Build.**

**JUNIOR APPRENTICE BOILERMAKER**:

- **Supporting tradespeople, contractors and operators with general laboring assistance.**:

- **Operating power tools and equipment, cleaning/preparing worksites.**:

- **Involvement with purchasing and warehousing procedures and policies where applicable.**:

- **Assist with the continuous business improvement process.**:

- **Shop priming of newly fabricated structural steel.**:

- **Loading & unloading trucks.**:

- **Use of overhead cranes.**

**Please note: This is a C10-Manufacturing Tradesperson Level 1 Award**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Forklift License**:

- **White Card**:

- **Previous steel fabrication experience and mechanical aptitude highly regarded.**:

- **Steel fabrication industry background.**:

- **Great work ethic and commitment to seeing a project through to the end.**:

- **Genuine commitment to safety policies and procedures.**:

- **Reliable transport.**:

- **Industrial painting experience (spray painting) would be rewarded but not necessary.**

**Salary**: $14.94 - $25.17 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
