**About The Role**

The position takes ownership and is accountable for deploying Project Risk Management dedicated system and tools, delivering leadership, albeit not from a level of authority, translating governance frameworks to multidisciplinary Programs / Project teams developing, executing, and achieving Origin’s Transition Strategies for growth towards renewable energy, and the sustainment of existing assets in the Generation, Asset Development and Construction, and Asset Investment groups.

**Key duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Delivery of Risk, Opportunity, Contingency, and Assurance management, Lead and Facilitate R&A workshops and reviews supporting the projects, programs that make up the generation and development portfolio
- Champion, and ensure the Risk, Opportunity and Assurance management processes, procedures, tools are applied to Project, Program & Portfolio as directed
- Monitor, identify new project team members requiring training and Deliver induction/training on Risk, Opportunity and Assurance management processes and tools used by Origin in the management of Projects.
- Verify and interpret key project data, highlighting non-conformance, information gaps and potential risks/opportunities advising Project and Program manager accordingly
- Engage with the PC team to ensure that project status reporting and updates for Risk & Assurance are completed on time and to the required standards

You’ll need to have exceptional co-ordination, and time management skills and the ability to easily build rapport with others.

You can show, through the work you’ve done that you have:

- Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in a Project Risk and Assurance Management role within a large technology focused organisation.
- Formal education in Risk and/or Assurance Management
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or Trade (with more than 5 years’ experience)
- Training & Facilitation skills, able to engage all levels of the organisation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with a collaborative, pragmatic and outcome focused win-win approach
- Ability to extract and interpret business requirements and articulate both orally and in written form a strategy and/or plan in a concise manner, demonstrated ability to prepare and present written reports and presentations to a high standard.
- Leadership of Change from an influencing perspective, not from a position of authority
- Experience (desirable) using project risk management software, i.e. ARM - SWORD
- Able to travel
