**Location: Melbourne**

We’re looking for a communications professional at an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level who is passionate about connecting with media and key opinion leaders to reach new audiences.

Someone who has broad knowledge of the Australian media landscape, has strong media relations, is a creative thinker and who is excited to jump into any challenge, no matter how big or small.

You’ll work beyond the realms of Weber Shandwick, collaborating with the Jack Morton team and other specialists to leverage the expertise and offerings of other disciplines - all with the aim of creating compelling integrated solutions for our clients and doing extraordinary, meaningful, and impactful work.

**THE WORK YOU’LL GET TO DO**

We’ve got some great consumer, health and tech clients.

You’ll work in close partnership with clients to develop and execute integrated creative communications campaigns including earned media, social media and influencer marketing.

You’ll work with some of the most loved global as well as local brands.

You’ll collaborate with the strategy and creative team on coming up with fresh and innovative ways for our clients to tell their stories.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS**

You will be responsible for:

- Day-to-day management of clients, projects and monitoring quality of work and to meet Service Level Agreements
- Development of strategic and creative industry, sector and product focused PR campaigns
- Keeping abreast of current PR trends and tools and bringing this into your counsel and programs
- Building deep client relationships and maintaining a network of strategic media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
- Spearheading both traditional PR and social media projects
- Leading and understand the full value of storytelling as you consider news angles, stories and pitches to further the client’s thought leadership reputation, profile, products and services.
- Working with the team to fulfil the client’s key performance indicators and growing accounts
- Being a core member of our business growth team through proactive identification, pitch development and organic ideation for current clients
- Managing a high level of client interaction
- Managing account administration duties such as billing, financial reporting and activity reports
- Managing and mentoring junior members of staff

**Requirements**:

- Ideally you will have four plus years communications experience
- Experience with consumer, health and/or tech brands
- Experience in managing multi market campaigns
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and relationships with key media
- A relevant degree in media or public relations
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, writing and project management skills, a creative flair and an interest in the media
- High levels of communication - both presentation, verbal, and written skills
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation
- Strong copywriting and marketing mastery
- Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
- Outstanding organisation skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
- Service focused and sensitive to confidential information
