**Position Information**:
Dulwich hill Public School as a enrolment of 390. Students have diverse backgrounds and experiences, their families are very supportive of the school.

The role of Learning Support Team Coordinator is highly valued and well supported within the school. The Learning Support Team works closely with the School Counsellor and Department of Education Support Services, as they are required. A range of learning needs including ADHD, ASD, anxiety including separation anxiety, developmental delay, dyslexia, dyspraxia are supported in all classrooms by all teachers, who are supported in turn. by the Learning Support Team and the LST coordinator.

The LST coordinator is responsible for Access Request submissions, Integration Funding reviews, organisation of School Learning Support Officers and their professional learning, annual reviews, supporting teachers with Personalised Learning Pathways with First Nations Students, their families and support networks; also developing Personal Learning, Support and Behaviour Plans as required to assist students and teachers maximise learning for students.

The successful applicant will be asked to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week, in order to maximise shared time with the School Counsellor whose roster is Tuesday and Thursday at Dulwich Hill PS.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (primary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

2. Professional qualifications, skills and experience in the role of Learning and Support Teacher.

3. Experience in all aspects of data collection and analysis necessary to assist teachers with the provision of specific and strategic learning support in mainstream classes.

4. Knowledge, skill and experience in designing and implementing differentiated and /or adjusted lessons for students in a K-6 school.

6. Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills to achieve, in a timely and highly satisfactory manner, identified outcomes for the Learning Support Team and its dependants.

7. Demonstrated exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to achieve identified outcomes for teachers, students and their families.
