**About Good Sammy Enterprises**
Good Sammy Enterprises (Good Sammy) is a social enterprise focused on creating employment opportunities, pathways, and training for Western Australians with disability. Everything they do is motivated by this purpose and has been since they were founded in 1958.
Good Sammy believes that the vision is a better future for people with disability and believes that creating inclusive workplaces is the foundation for an inclusive society. At Good Sammy they offer a variety of structured development programs and employment choices to encourage people living with a disability to explore life.
**Traineeship qualifications available at Good Sammy**
The scope of qualifications in the traineeship program is constantly under review. Requests for qualifications out of scope will be reviewed for eligibility and organisational capacity to deliver. All requests are to be sent to the TPC.
- Cert II/III in Retail Services
- Cert II/III in Workplace Skills (Business)
- Cert II in Hospitality
- Cert II in Supply Chain Logistics
**Guideline**
Please submit this expression of interest (EOI) form if you are interested in completing a school based traineeship through Good Sammy.
By completing this EOI, you acknowledge the expectation to complete all required workplace hours and you will complete all units of competency with the RTO by the completion of your traineeship term.
You will be expected to do home-based (and/or school-based) study to complete your units of competency, and you will also be expected to work at least 8 hours per week.
Good Sammy will review EOI forms and assess career matching with our social enterprises. Our Learning and Development team will conduct interviews in conjunction with the normal recruitment process.
**About you**
- like to work as part of a team,
- enjoy learning and doing new things, meeting new people,
- can manage lots of different tasks (e.g. work and study), and
- can manage their time.
To be eligible for a traineeship with Good Sammy, applicants must:
- identify as a person with a disability
- be able to work at least 8 hours per week
- be at least 15 years old
If supports for completing the traineeship are required above what is provided by the RTO, the applicant must also have NDIS funding.
