**JOB SUMMARY**:
As a Mechanical Engineering Technician at Perfect Automation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our packaging machinery solutions. Your responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of various packaging machines, as well as assisting in the development of custom machinery designs to meet specific client needs. You will work closely with our dynamic team to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency in our packaging solutions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in machinery, reducing downtime and maintaining productivity.
- Custom Machinery Design: Assist in designing and developing custom machinery to meet specific client requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all machinery and equipment meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
- Project Collaboration: Work collaboratively on projects, including automations and integrations, to enhance packaging solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery performance and service delivery.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and packaging machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
