About the business and the role

The Successful applicants will be responsible for producing Press tools for the aluminium window and door industry. We are a well-established company that has been rapidly expanding over the last few years. We are looking at expanding further but need experienced personal to do that.

This low-pressure, well paid role will give you the opportunity to fit into an experienced and relaxed team.

Regular overtime available but not compulsory.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your duty will involve manufacturing the tools from the band sawing stage to Quality control, which will include milling, drilling, grinding, welding, manufacture of safety guards and the final trial of the tools. This could be done both from drawings and sometimes from your own design. You will also have the opportunity to gain or improve your skills of CNC machining, EDM wire cutting, design of press tools and to help in the training of Apprentices to name a few.

Skills and experience

The skills needed to take on this role is a general knowledge of toolmaking, engineering or fitting/machining. The experience of CNC machining, EDM wire cutting or previous aluminium tool experience will be a great advantage.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.11 per hour

- 8 hour shift
