Lead Surveyor

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced **Surveyor **to join our team in our Nunawading head office.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate accurate and timely fee proposals
- Use a combination of CAD and other Survey software systems
- Assist Survey Manager in training of junior surveyors and site engineers
- Coordinate field crew’s daily tasks
- Work closely with our drafting team
- Consult with our Project team, clients, or any government authorities in order to acquire information related to projects
- Attend Survey team meetings and Project Initiation meetings
- Maintain technical specification and Safety records
- Liaise with Survey Manager and the project team to achieve best project and budget outcome

**About You**
- A Completed qualification in surveying
- Strong client and quality focus.
- Survey experience on large scale project and demonstrated project management understanding and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Capacity to manage projects independently (including management of subcontractors)
- Expertise in a specialist survey field, such as Machine Control data, BIM modelling, Drone survey processing is ideal but not essential.
- Understand safety hazards that may be present on site and plan accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills specifically within the Infrastructure, Civil and Landscaping environment
