**Your next opportunity**

Boral Cement is seeking an experienced Mechanical Specialist to join our day shift team based at Maldon.

**Your day will involve**:

- Be responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritised to meet production needs
- Maintenance of a wide range of fixed plant equipment including conveyors, mills, crushers, dust collectors, pneumatic & hydraulics systems
- Undertaking preventative maintenance and defect repairs
- General plant maintenance duties
- Acting as a relief for other work in line with your skills and competence
- Compliance with Boral's Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with the production and electrical teams

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant mechanical trade qualifications. Minimum Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Trades.
- Forklift licence, EWP, WAH (Working at Heights), forklift and overhead crane permits would be advantageous
- Relevant industrial manufacturing experience.
- Advanced mechanical fault finding and a keen eye for detail.
- Some knowledge of all plant operations, products, processes and services (desirable)
- Knowledge of Maintenance work plans & procedures.
- Some working knowledge and experience on OHSE & Quality policies and systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems and automation experience is an advantage
