**About School Infrastructure**

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

The School Security Unit provides a wide range of support services to schools to ensure that their levels of safety and security are maximised. The Unit is a technical stakeholder which provides specialist advice and support to a wide range of capital works projects, including the construction of new and upgraded schools.

**About the role**

This role provides advice and support to stakeholders of the department’s Share our Space Program and assists with the development and implementation of related security strategies. The role also undertakes a variety of tasks that assist the operation of the Unit’s central monitoring station.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**About you**

In this role you will:
- Provide internal and external stakeholders of the Share our Space Program with high quality advice and support that effectively addresses their enquiries and calls for assistance.- Assess the effectiveness of the security services that are provided to the Share our Space program and recommend improvement strategies if required.- Identify and address emerging issues promptly, effectively and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.- Maintain appropriate records and other documentation in a professional and well written manner.
