**Responsibilities**
- Erecting concrete form work and laying steel reinforcing
- Pouring, spreading and levelling concrete using screeds and templates
- Tamping, smoothing, shaping and sealing concrete
- Operating trowelling machines to float, trowel and polish concrete surfaces
- Forming expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edges
- Installing fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills
- Wetting concrete and rubbing with abrasives to finish vertical surfaces
- Covering concrete with plastic sheeting and sand to cure it
- Cutting lines in concrete using power cutters
- Creating forms for bridges, foundations, beams and staircases
- Building structures on site using wood or putting together metal frames that have been made elsewhere
- Dismantling casts without damaging them so that they can be used again
- Measuring, cutting and shaping wood or metal
- Working closely with the team to pour concrete into moulds
- Checking work for accuracy
- Producing concrete blocks of exactly the right shape and size for whatever needs building

**Qualifications, Registration & Licences**

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
