Assembly Fitter

38 hour week
- Temporary position with potential to become permanent
- Trade cert in Fitting & Turning or Engineering

With over 30 years’ experience and their machines sold to over 40 countries, you will be joining a team that knows success

This Warragul company needs an experienced and capable Assembly Fitter on a casual basis, working 38 hour weeks. The added bonus here is that if you prove your skills, then this could turn into a permanent full time position.

Working 8am to 4pm, with some flexibility, you will:

- Interpret technical drawings or specifications and implement
- General machine work - Large and small lathes, milling machines and grinders
- Ensure all your work is carried out to the highest quality
- Use hand and machine tools including welding and fabrication equipment

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Recognised trade certificate in Fitting & Turning or Engineering
- Physical fitness
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work as a team as well as unsupervised
- Sound problem solving and time management skills

Along with the above, you must have a current police check, drivers’ licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical test.
