A full-time position is available for immediate start in Milperra for a competent Factory Supervisor/Leading Hand in the metal work shop.

We are a medium sized company specialising in tube bending, welding, fabrication and installation; providing products and services to a variety of industries.

Essential criteria
- Metal trades background
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Welding experience, preferred but not essential
- Current forklift licence
- Strong leadership skills

Duties
- Supervision of trades and non-trades factory staff
- Hands-on machine setting and operation
- Ensuring production plans are scheduled and assigned
- Equipment maintenance
- Managing goods inwards/outwards and stock control
- Materials handling, storage and control
- Workplace communication
- Factory and warehouse housekeeping
- Ability to observe all OHS / Quality assurance policies and procedures

Use your previous trades experience to lead production efficiency for this dynamic company.

**Salary**: $60,809.50 - $130,114.38 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Christmas bonus

**Experience**:

- Metal fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
