Dinosaur Designs, one of Australia’s top design companies is looking for a full time Jewellery Supervisor to lead and inspire the team in our expanding Sydney based workshop.

With a minimum of three years relevant work experience in a similar role, you’ll have a proven ability to manage teams and be happy to roll up your sleeves to gain hands-on knowledge of the day-to-day running of our jewellery and home wares production facility.

**Key Tasks**
- Identifying designs, patterns, styles and specifications for jewellery and other items
- Assembling and repairing jewellery and other items
- Appraising the quality and value of jewellery to meet Dinosaur Designs’ standards
- Allocate Daily tasks and workloads to the team in collaboration with the Production Director
- Rotate staff through various workstations throughout the day to achieve maximum efficiency and minimise risk of repetitive strain injury (“RSI”)
- Refining jewellery and other items using required tools and machinery
- Liaise with the Tumbling Supervisor on required tumbling and polishing loads and staff rosters
- Assess all sanding and tumbling rejects for quality control of product and prototype
- Identify Production Director and Casting Supervisor of casting related issues that are identified during finishing process and collaborate on finding solutions
- Liaise with the design team on new styles and product ranges
- Staff supervision and training. Addressing staff performance issues if they arise.
- Attending monthly HSE meeting, weekly planned inspections, updating MSDS and training staff in SOPs
- Stock management as needed to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained company-wide

**Salary**: $73,150.00 Per annum, plus Superannuation.
