Electronics Technician

An NDIS-registered provider of voice-output communication devices for non-verbal people, is looking for a competent, experienced electronics technician. The main elements of the role include repairing electronic tablets, re-imaging and re-setting devices, ordering and stock-taking of parts, commissioning new devices, maintaining the device database, and keeping up to date all software images.

You will join another technician to share the role in a dynamic fashion, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness are maintained.

You will be expected to liaise with speech therapists, service providers, families and the NDIS to ensure the smooth and rapid provision of device support. Many perceived faults can be rectified remotely, negating the need to send in a device and deprive a child of their “voice”. You will already possess comprehensive, demonstrable knowledge of both Windows and Android operating systems.

This is a high energy position with wide responsibility, requiring a self-starter who relishes independence while understanding the demands of the job. A competitive wage will be offered by negotiation.

You will work in a fresh, newly refurbished office, amongst a welcoming team of ten. There is secure onsite parking, plenty of natural light, and an eat-in kitchen.
