They have engaged Kogan People Solutions to work with them as they look for a skilled Analyst Programmer who is looking to join a fast-paced, and high-energy team within a global firm going places, fast. The role is full time and ongoing.

**Location** - South Melbourne 3205

**Salary** - widely negotiable in the range $120k to $150k plus superannuation per annum

**Responsibilities**
- Working within leading edge software delivery teams, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer systems, programs and integrations.
- Analyze user information system needs.
- Document functionality and requirements.
- Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs.
- Writing and maintaining user documentation; overseeing a help desk.
- Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Promote best practise
- Strongly relevant university level qualifications or agreed alternative
- At least 2 - 3 years experience in similarly professional high impact roles
- Strong relevant skills and methodological approach.
- Previous experience with customers (working directly and on-site visits).
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience in writing code projects with Python and Java - major advantage
- Experience working with various data bases and with MongoDB - an advantage
- Knowledge in networking protocols and technologies: HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS, network components.
- Experience with Kubernetes and other container orchestration technologies - an advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge in working with Linux environments - installing, configuring networking, writing bash scripts, and more.
- Evident skills as a self-starter who is hands-on and knows how to find answers and work with ambiguity
- Prior experience working in a commercial development environment: formal QA, testing,
- debugging, best practices for development, schedules, processes, defect queues, code management, build environments.
- IT experience (large organizations - advantage).
- Unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia.
