**The role**

Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our Tipper and Dog fleet, based in Smeaton Grange.

If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team, where your contribution will be valued, then this is the job for you. In this position you will meet a diverse group of people and you will be given the responsibility to ensure that our quarry products are delivered safely, effectively and efficiently.

We will train you in all facets of being a tipper and dog driver, meaning that this is a great opportunity to expand your driving experience in a secure industry.

To be successful in this role you will enjoy working with a wide variety of people daily and have a strong commitment to health and safety.

You will have the ability to prioritise your work, be flexible and feel pride in doing a good job.

**To apply, as a minimum you must already hold a HC licence.**

**Responsibilities**
- Load and deliver quarry products to customer sites
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management requirements
- Complete basic documentation
- Maintain positive customer relationships
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition

**What you will need to succeed**
- A current HC drivers licence and be able to provide driving record - essential
- Previous tipper and dog experience - advantageous
- Relevant building/concrete industry experience - advantageous
- A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service
- Positive work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work self-directed
