**About the Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a** Registrar** within **Obstetric Medicine **where you will be responsible for:
- Provide clinical services in Obstetric Medicine of the highest possible standard to inpatients and outpatients of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, under Consultant supervision.
- Participate in a seven day roster including after-hours as required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 6- or 12-month Obstetrics Medicine Registrar allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
**About You**
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- At least 2 years satisfactory experience as a Medical Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, their relatives and other staff.
