We are seeking a Central Reservations Agent to join our team on a temporary full-time basis for up to 12 months. The role will be based in our Sydney Olympic Park Head Office with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

**About the team**

The Central Reservations Team is the first point of contact for event organisers to engage with the Office of Sport to book facilities and for individuals to register into Office of Sport programs across our 10 Sport and Recreation Centres, utilising the operating environment Ungerboeck for our event management.

The Central Reservations Team is responsible for all booking management up to the event delivery stage (approximately three weeks prior), which will then be managed by the relevant Sport and Recreation Centre.

**About the role**

The Central Reservations Agents provide direct service to our customers. As a Central Reservations Agent, you will be required to:

- Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality customer service to customers consistent with the values of the Office of Sport to deliver a high-quality end to end customer experience
- Respond and follow up customer enquiries, tailor program packages, prepare quotes, administer booking contracts, issue event registrations.
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Follow up outstanding debts by sending bill reminders and contacting clients, as well as verifying discrepancies and resolve customers billing issues

The operating hours of Central Reservations is Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. The Central Reservations Agent will be rostered to work a seven-hour day between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need the following experience and qualifications:

- Demonstrated relevant experience in sales, event management and bookings coordination in a relevant field such as events, accommodation, or tourism
- Preferable experience in working within a CRM / ERP solution, preferably Ungerboeck
- Ability to successfully complete a National Criminal Records Check and a Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance

2. Explain how you have tailored existing product offerings to suit a customer’s specific requirements. How do you discuss this with the customer and influence a positive outcome that suits all parties?
