We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Roading Planner Supervisor (note this role is known internally as a Roading Planner) to join our diverse and dynamic Softwoods team in Bathurst.

**About the role**:
The Roading Planning Supervisor supports operational performance by ensuring the cost-effective, safe and timely planning and implementation of road infrastructure works to a standard that meets operational, community access and recreational requirements. The position supports procurement activities, contractor engagement and management.
**We would love you to have**:

- Knowledge and/or understanding of the management of operations, preferentially in roading
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of technologies and systems relevant to operations planning, including some experience with GIS
- Demonstrated skills and experience in writing work operations plans.
- A preference for forestry management and protection experience, which may include road building or design, harvesting or silvicultural activities, weed and pest control, fire management, planning and suppression.
- Proven organisational skills - being a self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines
- Experienced in monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance
- Capacity and willingness to undertake fire and fuel management duties, fire fighting and extensive travel
