Childcare Educator

Interested applicants must have:

- A passion to work with children - ideally with babies in our nursery room.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive approach to supporting children and their families.
- An intention to work and learn with our children for a meaningful period of time.

Successful applicants will have:

- a Certificate III in Children's Education and Care - or studying, or
- a Diploma in Children's Education and Care - or studying, or

You will:

- Be a positive role model to the little people in your care
- love and care for tiny humans - with respect and passion,
- develop and implement educational activities at a moments notice through engaging with the children
- write about children interestingly and intelligently,
- let children's families know how awesome their children are
- reading and singing stories from books held upside down, whilst enjoying "hug-gles" from multiple children.

We are really searching for passionate educators who have the intention to be mentored, then grow and develop and remain with our company in an early childhood career.

You must be a positive person with:

- a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Education and Care - or a willingness and determination to enrol in this qualification,
- excellent English language skills,
- Australian citizenship (or Visa eligibility),
- a Working With Vulnerable People Check and,
- a desire to care for and educating young children.

We offer above ratio staffing with fantastic team moral, sensational pay (excellent above award conditions) and a fully supportive local management team. We are a well-established flexible and motivated workplace run by a Canberra owned and operated company.

Please note that our centres close for 2 weeks over the Christmas period (so our staff can enjoy time with their friends and family). Therefore the likely start would be January - however this is very negotiable.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
