**Seeking a new opportunity this new year?**
Due to an internal promotion, Ventia currently have a **full-time, 9 day fortnight opportunity** for a Storeperson at our Australian Defence Force Parachuting School in Nowra. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team.

**About the contract**

We proudly provide clothing and personal equipment services to the Australian Defence Force. We manage and operate Defence base clothing stores at 28 sites nationally, delivering over the counter sales; combat uniforms and equipment; specialist kitting activities; tailoring services; manufacture of name tags; court mounting of medals, miniatures, and ribbon bars.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - serving customers, receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves, plus preparing the training kits for courses.
- Arranging equipment repairs and stock purchases through our computer systems.
- Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site.
- Management of all inventory, receipts, and delivery of goods.
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping.

**Our next Storeperson will**:

- Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance.
- Demonstrate experience in a stores and warehousing environment.
- Have good customer service skills.
- Hold basic computer skills.
- Have a "hands on" proactive attitude and be physically fit, as the job requires prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
- Hold a valid driver's licence and reliable transport is essential.
