**Heavy Diesel Fitter**

**Work Location**:Christmas Creek

**Roster**: 2 week on 4 weeks off - Job Share role

Our Christmas Creek Digger Maintenance Team require an HD Fitter for a job share role, the roster is 2 week on 4 weeks off, FIFO Avaiable from Perth or Busselton.

You will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to a range of large-scale mining equipment supporting Fortescue's mining operations. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and inspections on mining fleet with particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintenance of large Scale Mobile Mining Equipment.
- Diagnostics & fault finding.
- Workshop and pit duties as required.
- Work in conjunction with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Australian recognised trade certificate.
- Previous experience working in Mining.
- Mobile plant experience is essential.
- High regard for safety
- Heavy Rigid Driver’s License
