**About Us**
BGC’s Quarries, based at The Lakes along The Great Southern Highway, produce more than 1,500,000 tonnes of crushed aggregate a year, and supply the raw material for the required concrete, roof tiles, block paving products, road construction projects, civil engineering and large commercial projects.

**The Opportunity**
Due to growth our team are seeking experienced a Fixed Plant Fitter to join the BGC Quarries team located at The Lakes, roughly 30 minutes north-east of Midland.

This exciting opportunity is for weekend work only and includes day, night shifts or combination of the two.

**role**
**will**
**include**:

- General duties including; grinding, cutting (friction and gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, stick);
- Use of two-way radio systems to maintain contact with relevant supervisors;
- Conduct risk assessments for every task undertaken;
- Daily pre-start inspections are conducted and recorded;
- Informing senior management of any safety concerns;
- Adjusting and maintaining equipment;
- Ensure that all hazards, near misses, injuries, incidents and accidents are reported.

**What we’ll love about you**

- Willingness to provide suggestions for ongoing improvements of site processes;
- Holder of Level 1,2 and 3 in relevant trade qualifications;
- Sound experience in Heavy Plant Fitting and Welding;
- Hold a current valid WA Driver’s License.
