The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is responsible for the leadership, operation and management of our schools which educate more than 20,000 students in 45 primary schools, 11 secondary schools, two K-12 schools and one flexible learning centre across the Diocese.

These three new roles come off the back of recent changes for our Catholic Schools team and offer an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver improvement across our system of 58 schools.

The key purpose of the Regional Service Advisor role is to provide advice and support to school principals and executive to identify opportunities for improvement and to deliver effective, sustainable and improved outcomes.

We are looking for three people, each passionate about continuous improvement, keen on data and building relationships across our organisation.

Working closely with the Assistant Head of School Improvement, you will foster collaboration between our schools, shared services and the Catholic Schools Office.

The Regional Service Advisor will work closely with principals and the school executive teams to support and monitor school performance dashboards, enabling positive change through the development of plans and coordination of activities to achieve progress and growth objectives.

Each role will support a number of schools across the Diocese and will meet regularly with school leadership teams and Diocesan specialists to ensure our schools are supported holistically, via cross-functional collaboration and engagement with our Shared Services teams.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA**
- Proven commercial and business acumen with previous experience in the collating and analysis of data and the development of related action plans.
- Experience in initiating and supporting positive change through planning, monitoring and reporting practices that promote improvement.
- High level ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and tight timeframes and to develop advice on complex policies and strategies, based on sound judgement in a strategic context.
- Superior analytical, planning, and conceptual skills, combined with innovative and creative problem-solving skills for the provision of expert advice and the development of innovative solutions and strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to independently manage and influence internal and external relationships.
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
- Demonstrated understanding of schools, the education environment and Catholic Diocese system.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Business related degree qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
- Criminal History Check
- Current driver's license
- Level C Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead (**Desirable** - Willingness to work towards)

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

The position will be covered by the Catholic Schools Office Enterprise Agreement, which includes compensatory leave (4 + 2 weeks per annum) and other additional leave benefits (access to long service leave after just five years).
