**School Administration Officer - Level 4 - Events & Marketing**:

**Location**: St John XXIII Catholic College (Secondary), St John XXIII Catholic College (Primary)

**Temporary Part-time**: Level 4 - 70hrs per fortnight Monday to Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm (Averaged School terms only)

From 18 March 2024 and concluding 1 November 2024.

**Position Objective**

The School Support Officer - Events & Marketing provides services in the form of:

- End to end coordination and delivery of events
- Proven client management experience within venues or event services.
- Excellent event organisation and problem solving skills
- Extensive graphic design skills and design thinking approaches to enhance outdoor learning spaces
- A passion for imagination and creativity
- Experience with social media and communications

**Requirements of the Position**
- Support of the Catholic ethos
- Strong skills in software tools highly desirable (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Proven client management experience within venues or event services.
- Previous experience with working in a school is highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions, prioritise, and meet set deadlines
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel, contractors and external stakeholders
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality of assigned work
- Knowledge and ability to operate complex office equipment
- Have undertaken and completed skill-developing programs relevant to the skills and duties to be undertaken.
