**About the role**:
The APS6 Procurement reporting is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team. You will be required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Lead a small team including maintaining the integrity and quality of corporate data (from third party systems or within the Agency systems).
- Maintain reporting/data management tools and systems using strong Excel skills and knowledge using business management and database software such as SAP ESSentials and SAP GUI.
- Work collaboratively to develop a suitable solution to complex issues based on available data.
- Design and delivery training and support materials to internal clients.
- Act as a central point of contact to resolve systems issues between the Agency and third party such as Services Australia.
- Provide procurement content, advice and support for the Agency regulatory and legislative reporting requirements.
- Develop a suite of corporate reporting tools to support branch reporting using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other similar data software.
- Provide support to compliance reporting and ensuring the Agency procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the Agency Procurement Policy to deliver value for money outcomes

**MANDATORY**
- Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations.
- Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department
- Adaptable and resilient
- Problem-solving skills to manage challenges productively and positively.
- Good critical thinking skills
- Previous experience in providing high level administrative support
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one.

**Desirable skills to have for the role**:

- Strong SAP ESSentials and SAP GUI experience and knowledge
- Good Excel, Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools), and presentation skills
- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting
