**Cocoon Adventures provides supported holidays to people living with a disability. We are seeking a new team member who will help us continue to grow and support the positive impact we are having on the lives of the people we support. Cocoon Adventures is committed to fostering peer to peer friendships which can lead to increased confidence for those people who are most at risk of social isolation. This is not your typical Administration Officer role - the right applicant will have the opportunity be part of something that can enrich peoples lives.**
The purpose of the role is to help the team at Cocoon Adventures to facilitate
life-enriching and accessible travel experiences for the people we support
and contribute positively to the reputation and commercial performance of
Cocoon Adventures. The position requires sound understanding of the
NDIS and current best practice standards.
Main Tasks Core objectives include:
- Contribute to robust pre-planning, which could include the facilitation
of meet and greets, pre-departure briefings and debriefs.
- Prepare and distribute all aspects of billing including deposit and
NDIS invoices in Xero - Accounting Software
- Prepare financial reports in Xero
- Prepare and distribute service agreements in accordance with NDIS
compliance standards
- Ensure all data entry is completed including online questionnaires
and individual support profiles.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of current services by gathering
customer feedback.
- Ensure all incident reporting follows escalation processes to
minimise risks to clients if anything unforeseen arises.
- Compile content for post-holiday diary and image gallery distribution.
- Distribute new leads from social media, website and other channels
- Build rapport with stakeholders and people who express interest to
ensure the program continues to grow
- Support the utilisation of cloud-based platforms including a customer
record management system (CRM).
- Support the business marketing strategy through assisting with
content creation and updating the website to reflect live availability
**Mandatory requirement**
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain the below:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clearance check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation certificate
- Your own vehicle & an unrestricted driving licence.
- NDIS Orientation Module
