**A role with unique responsibilities**

A Quality, Compliance and Risk Officer plays an important role in achieving the Monash IVF Group vision. You are responsible for providing high quality support to the Pivet Medical Centre business unit to achieve and maintain accreditation and continuously improve our Quality Management Systems across both the Assisted Reproductive Treatment business unit and Day Surgery Unit. Under guidance from the Chief Governance & Risk Officer, your responsibilities include:

- Acting as an advisory / service department to help and support local business units to implement systems to minimize risk, achieve the strategic objectives and maintain accreditation
- Working collaboratively with local area managers and leaders
- Understanding and implementing Group policies into the local systems and comply with local legislation and business structure
- Identifying and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (based on Group recommendations)
- Monitoring local legislative landscape and highlighting areas of forthcoming change
- Highlighting areas of risk: non-compliance, inability to comply, conflict with local legislation etc.
- Participating in ongoing enhancement of the Group Quality, Risk and Compliance Activities through sharing of systems, feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Promoting culture of Patient Focus through rigorous Quality and Risk Management activities

Understanding that you will be faced with challenges, the Quality, Compliance & Risk Officer will be utilised as a support resource to achieve the needs of our newly acquired business unit in Perth and will endeavour to maintain a critical eye to detail and focus on group outcomes. Ideally you will bring the following:

- Experience in ART and/or Quality & Risk management (advantageous)
- A demonstrable track record of leading and educating others on accreditation compliance and quality management
- The confidence to inspire our people to embrace change
- The willingness to be persistent and persuade
- Previous experience with accreditation and regulatory compliance audits
- Capabilities towards planning and conducting audits
- Highly organised and excellent time management skills
- A methodical and structured mindset, plus strong attention to detail
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally
- Problem solving and strategic planning ability
- Motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to meet set goals/targets
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Dynamic, flexible and adaptable
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office suite of products (essential)
- The willingness to embrace Monash IVF Group Mission and Principles framework
