**Detailed Job Description**

A leading construction head contractor with a large pipeline of works going forward into 2024. They have been responsible for some of Canberra's signature landmarks and have an exciting project pipeline for you to jump straight into. Their collaboration, employee incentives and organisation always guarantees that projects are well resourced and are delivered smoothly with mínimal disruptions. Thanks to their excellent structure and leadership, they have secured a great amount of future works and are looking for an young and ambitious Site Engineer/Foreman to join their ranks.

- Run procurement process for commercial projects
- Preparation of project documentation throughout the course of the project
- Scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and programme management
- Ensuring WHS requirements are met onsite
- Consulting on any technical engineering issues
- Manage subcontractor trades & negotiate on contracts
- Be responsible for overall contracts management
- Gain exposure to financial controls & budgeting

**The Ideal Applicant**
- 7+ years Australian work experience in a construction discipline
- Commercial construction experience is a must
- Be ambitious, motivated & eager to learn
- Have strong communication skills & be an active problem solver
- Experience working on projects over $**5 million**:

- Hold a Bachelors or relevant tertiary qualification in construction

You will need to have Australian work experience working with a Tier 2 or 3 head contractor where you contributed to the overall successful delivery of a project.
