**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Finance Officer to take a lead role in maintaining payroll data and manage relevant employment employee records. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will also assist them with related administrative and financial records activities.
You will be responsible for:

- Processing fortnightly casual staff (between 100-400 staff) and permanent staff (approx. 120 staff) payroll and associated reporting
- Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
- Processing variations (role, time fraction, salary) and termination payments
- Corporate credit card reconciliation
- Reconciliation and payment of Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax, payroll clearing account
- Assisting with internal/external audit queries
- Supporting the Senior Finance Officer with accounts receivable processes

**ABOUT YOU**
As an experienced finance officer with hands-on end-to-end payroll proficiency you will have the following:

- Demonstrated experience using an ERP (exposure to Pronto is highly desirable)
- Experience in interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Basic understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards
- Demonstrated experience in finance functions such as credit card reconciliation, accounts payable, staff expense claims, reconciliation of GL accounts
- A ‘can do’ attitude and genuine willingness to take on a broad range of tasks
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
