About the role
This is an exciting role for an experienced dietitian who wants to make a difference The Grade 2 Dietitian primarily based at Box Hill Hospital provides expert dietetic care across a range of clinical areas, including gastroenterology inpatients and outpatient clinics. Other key responsibilities include clinical supervision, student supervision and the opportunity to contribute to projects/research. Clinical supervision is an important part of our everyday practice and is supported widely by the Eastern Health Dietetics department.
Eastern Health Dietetics operates from many different locations, with our largest sites including Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre & Wantirna Health.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program
Holder of a current Driver’s Licence
Well consolidated post-graduate experience
Demonstrated advanced dietetic skills across a range of clinical areas in the Specialty Medicine Program
Demonstrated multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop evidence based and innovative dietetic services
Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of research and quality improvement activities
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and education
Demonstrated experience in Dietetic student clinical education & training
Availability for possible weekend rostering if required
**DESIRABLE**: Demonstrates experience in managing a diverse workload in a range of clinical areas including gastroenterology, oncology, renal medicine
