**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Marketplace Marketing specialist who is up to date with the latest digital trends and best practices. You’ll have an excellent understanding of customer journey’s and how we can enhance performance to drive awareness, acquisition and retention of customers with your strong experience across eCommerce, marketing sales and trading roles.
**What you bring**
- Entrepreneurial spirit that’s will to challenge the status quo and a digital-first approach
- Experience working for or with Marketplaces
- Excellent understanding of digital channels and performance media to ensure effective planning and execution of short term trade activity across paid, owned and earned channels
- Solid understanding of advertising laws including legislation and regulations
**The Role**
Bring BIG W Marketplace trade initiatives to life, working with cross functional teams to develop responsive and reactive activity to leverage short term customer demand.
Providing insights, optimisations to deliver our Marketplace commercial ambitions will help us achieve our purpose of making a real difference to families through demonstrating real value, real solutions and real care that build customer advocacy & commercial benefit.
**What you’ll do**
- Create our Go-to-Market strategy across all components of the marketing funnel - awareness, consideration, conversion, loyalty and advocacy.
- Drive our short term (bottom funnel) marketing activity to maximise the acquisition of customers
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the business to deliver effective and profitable trade marketing plans to continually look to maximise sales online.
- Plan and deliver key trade events for BIG W including seasonal trading events (e.g Black Friday) and online only events to drive eCommerce growth
- Ensure all short term trade communication is clear, consistent and connected to BIG W brand, reviewing how this flows from paid ads through to communications on website and instore
