**_ The Coordinator Organisational Development role at Hume_**

Provides a creative opportunity to shape an inclusive workplace, putting the right foundations in place to support the organisation's transformation and goal to work as OneHume, and ultimately deliver on the Hume community vision.

Through organisational development programs and initiatives, the role influences leadership capability, and the employee experience across the employee lifecycle. It is anticipated responsibilities during this temporary opportunity will focus on continued:

- implementation of Council's Reward and Recognition Framework ‘Hume Excellence'
- implementation and expansion of employment pathways at Council
- coordination of Council's Diversity and Inclusion Governance Framework and to implement Council's Gender Equality Action Plan 2021-2025, and
- coordination of Gender Equality progress reporting to the Commission of Gender Equality in the Public Sector.

**_ You are _**

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven to enhance leadership capability, inclusive culture, and the employee experience through your work. With gender equality being a focus, you may also have a passion and interest in diversity and inclusion. Your expertise will include:

- Experience designing and delivering a wide variety of programs and initiatives that positively influence leadership capability, organisational effectiveness and/or employee experience.
- Ability to diagnose issues and design, develop and deliver appropriate organisational development solutions that are flexible and sustainable, taking into consideration diverse and evolving needs.
- Well-developed research, analytical and project management skills, including scoping, planning, and implementing projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, including coaching, facilitating, and consulting, with the ability to motivate and influence.
- Ability to coach, motivate, support, and develop others (noting the Organisational Development Officer is a direct report).
- In addition, you may also have:_
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or relevant discipline, and several years of subsequent relevant experience, or
- Equivalent alternate combination of relevant qualifications, knowledge, training and/or experience.
