Meka Recruitment are working with a leading Civil design company and due to their growth and expansion they are looking for a HR Advisor to join their office in West end. HR Provides advisory support to Managers relating to employees, as well as supporting the daily HR/people related administration/systems tasks.
**About the role**
- Prepare documentation regarding new hire employment and employment transfers. Ensure work rights documentation is collected and stored on EH file
- Coordinates onboarding for HO staff and facilitates HR induction for HO staff
- Facilitates the weekly people operations management meeting including organising agenda; collects minutes and facilitates meeting
- Assist with developing and managing HR policies, procedures and workflows to align with current legislation as well as business strategies.
- Monitor employee compliance training records and advise supervisor/s monthly for their action to maintain licence currency.
- Conducts regular governance checks on the Training competency matrix.
- Maintains shared responsibility (where required) to source and/or coordinate professional development training needs
- Ensure current position descriptions are regularly reviewed and are updated to reflect any changes
- Preparation of nominated HR reports (VINCI and BMC as required)
- Preparation of reports/dashboards to support BMC including but not limited to
- Min 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to build relationships cross functionally and influence decision making
- Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing people management agreements, policies and procedures.
- Solid time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and general HRIS systems
- Ability to coordinate and execute all given tasks with a ‘can do’ and prompt attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual
**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
