We are searching for a School Officer with enthusiasm and a passion for learning to join our dedicated team of professionals in the prep years.
The right person will strive to create a positive learning environment for the students in our care. You will be supported by three other members of the Prep Team (Two teachers and a support school officer)

Our school has a beautiful Prep environment with bright, open rooms and ample play spaces.

- Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the broader life of the school and support the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

**About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience to the Year 2 classroom, as well as**:

- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices
- Able to follow directions and instructions
- Commitment to child safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills
- Show initiative
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes

**At BCE our school officers are required to**:

- Hold a paid Blue Card
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

**A certificate III or IV in educational support would be advantageous

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

- The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
