Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cable Jointer to join Service Stream in our Port Melbourne office.
About the Role

Service Stream’s Power division are currently seeking a Cable Jointer to join our growing company. The Distribution Cable Jointer is responsible for the safe delivery of works on high and low voltage underground cables. The duties include but are not limited to HV &LV cable jointing, cable hauling and civil work.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Port Melbourne

Reporting Line: Works Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Working on low voltage or high voltage lines and following correct HS&E guidelines and procedures
- HV and LV cable jointing including Live LV jointing
- Working on live LV lines
- Construction and maintenance on the network
- HV and LV cable jointing including Live LV jointing
- Working on live LV lines
- Construction and maintenance on the network

About You
- Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.
- VESI (Victorian Electricity Supply Industry) trained and up to date
- Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs.
- Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card.
- Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.
- Desirable - Forklift licence, EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and Endorsed driver's license.
