**About the Company**

Our client is a 50 bed Aged Care Facility located in Keilor Downs and they currently require a Cleaner to provide domestic service for residents as directed by the Administrator.

**About the Role**

As the Cleaner, you will work as a cleaner to work on a casual contract from 7:30am - 3:30pm from Monday - Friday

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all basic/deep cleaning within the service environment
- Cleaning floors and rooms including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
- Operating standard domestic and industrial equipment such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, polishers, scrubbers etc. and keeping them in good order
- Ability to understand and acknowledge the Statement of Residential Rights and Responsibilities
- To understand and have the ability to acknowledge that regardless of a resident's physical or mental frailty, their right, worth and dignity persist regardless of whether the resident is able to fully appreciate or be aware of these themselves

**Skills and Abilities**:

- The right to work in Australia
- Previous experience in a Aged Care facility preferred
- A clear police clearance or able to get one
- To be able to work unsupervised
- To have great communication skills
- To be able to take initiative
